At Primitive Instruments we turn ideas into products people love.

We are building the single company to make new physical products. From ideation, through design, fabrication, verification, to managing devices in the hands of your customers.

Our first product helps chip designers make new chips faster. But that's not the full picture. After new chips are fabbed and delivered, we help teams do physical verification through our hardware management system. This includes health checks, provisioning, and network connectivity. After individual components are verified, teams will combine multiple devices to have partial or full products. Our fleet management builds on the hardware management to handle all product related needs such as software updates and diagnostics.

Our Team

We're a team of multi time founders who have worked on quantum computers (IonQ), autonomous vehicles (Apple), AI research & supercomputers (Sandia National Laboratories, Tenstorrent), and even the F-35.

We're built and based in New York, New York.

We care deeply about building the right tools that make our customers happy. We care about aesthetics, best practices, and building the right thing. We aren't into cutting corners.
